CHRISTMAS SEED
POTATOES
These are specially selected potatoes that have bee held back in cold storage so that growth is delayed for planting in august.
best grown in containers fill a 30cm (12") pot a 2/3 full and plant the tubers 6cm (3") deep. when they have grown 15cm (6") tall fill the container up to the top of the pot remembering to leave a 3cm (1") gap at the to to aid watering keep them well fed and watered. bring the pots inside as the nights draw colder or cover with fleece and you should have lovely freshly dug new potatoes to impress your family with on Christmas day.
